Note from the Director ...

When casting a play you usually need actors, sometimes singers, occasionally musicians but a brass band? Now that is something different, and St Nics like something different, especially if it is a challenge. This has been a challenge, and I would like to thank the whole team, both on and off stage, for their ideas and hard work.

A number of people on finding out that I would be directing this production said "Oh that's the story about the brass band" or "Isn't that the film about the miners?".
